Senior scientist and Head of the Space Oceanography Laboratory at IFREMER. Responsible for the Centre for Exploitation and Research for Satellite data, the CERSAT facility, http://cersat.ifremer.fr. He has published over 100 scientific papers in refereed journals in applied mathematics, physical oceanography, electromagnetic wave theory and their application to ocean remote sensing.

Role in the project: Senior scientist on WP 400.
